Can the UK Government intervene and buy it back from the USA. Why did we ever let it go. What happened to our chunky square bars? I miss the tinfoil wrapper. 😕 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5431333/NHS-bans-Cadbury-bars-battle-greedy-giant.html

You mean they’re trying to make money???? Whatever NEXT??!😜
@SW-User In a way deemed unethical and greedy by another institution and being British the NHS has sent it's butler to show Cadbury to the door. Long live the queen.
@SW-User There is making money, and then there is pure greed...

@Quizzical lets be honest the NHS food choices are complete crap so this can only be a good thing. I was visiting a family member on a cardiac specialist ward and all on offer was saturated fat or junk food. It was appalling. We don’t need crap in our hospitals-outside people can make their own choices
@SW-User I can't argue with that. It's all the vending machines are full of, fats and sugars.
And hospital meals are nothing impressive either...

@Quizzical it’s laughable really -surely it’s a chance to spend money educating people while they’re in there to alleviate the pressure on the NHS when they return?? I actually thought cardiac wards might be different but turns out not. Waste of time.
@SW-User They give a lot of lip service to 'preventative' medicine but practice very little of it.
That said, I wouldn't ever want to be without them 😁

@Quizzical me neither. I think we will lose it if we don’t stop swimming frantically to get through today rather than have some long term strategies. End up like America-only the rich can afford healthcare.
I'm hoping that the Labour party can actually unify themselves before the next election, to give themselves a chance of getting in. They aren't perfect by a long chalk but at least they present an image of caring for people (unlike the Tories), I'd like to see them given a chance at least to try and protect the NHS, if for nothing else.

@GeniUs I don’t know..Corbyn seems to have the right ethics and ideas for the radical change people want but seems to lack the leadership needed to drive it through. Time will tell I guess.
I think he's good as a leader but his policies need questioning for example, if he spends hundreds of millions of pounds setting up state businesses how will he ensure they remain public once he leaves office? It's a good idea but I fear will be sold as soon as he isn't there to maintain it.
