Do guys like Stephen King and David Lynch have a normal night's sleep?

Mr. King is a professional commercial author. He will have sleepless nights only when his most recent book won't sell ten copies.

They channel their inner demons onto paper, so they probably get some good sleep when they exhaust themselves pouring it out. 😂

I love Lynch, not so much Stephen King, which is not to say I don't respect his work, but it's rare I sleep during the night and when I do I wake up from an absurd dream. What does this say?

When David Lynch dreams, he always ends up in a room with floor length red curtains for walls and a red and white zigzag pattern on the floor......

I'm sure there are things that would be too much for them but they obviously have a high tolerance for horror and weirdness, so no.

I think normally people like them don’t sleep for long at a time, maybe 3 hours max.

Wasn’t King in a car wreck just before he wrote Misery. I think his health was debilitated after that incident decades ago.

They make their readers do that as they are immune to horror.
