I Am Tired of Some Using the Race Card

So,shopping at the market and the lights go out. Happens pretty often here in the middle of nowhere. A manager or whomever announces that the backup power for the checkout will be online in about fifteen minutes. Ok, no big deal, right?

I grab a couple things, go to checkout to wait. Two people in front of me and the one inn front starts yelling at the checker for not scanning her things Poor girl explains the system isn't up yet, it'll be a few more minutes. So the woman decided to scream how the girl is being racist cause she's black and how she needs to be fired, then it turns in to get insisting that she should get her food for free because of inconvenience. I think she throws in a "law says" for good measure too.

The system finally kicks in after way too much ranting, by that tinge the manager is there trying to explain it's not because she's black but because of the power outage. She leaves screeching about how she's going to call naacp and she has rights and oppression.....

Ofef that's oppression....

Bijoux why do people think it's only whites are racist , blacks are racist also
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
@Nyloncapes everyone is.. i'd mention a few 'honor students' of the hypocrisy but.. that's racist!
@Nyloncapes Because whites have had the means to make their racial biases law in the Western world, and in other parts via colonialism. No one would argue that there aren’t black people who are racially biased.

i have a sister in law who's just been a nightmare using the race card since day one.

i said enough and ... it's been bliss since, shame. i wanted a SIL.

I am not racist but they have chip on there shoulder, and Rude and think they can talk to people how they like and when you say something to them they accuse you of being racist
@Nyloncapes “They” do ? You’re generalizing about an entire group of people based upon skin color yet you don’t think you’re a racist ? Seriously ? 😵
@Nyloncapes Everyone has done chip on their shoulder over something or other. It's just easy to herd people together and convince them to focus on one issue or the other.

Ah yes they have yet to put ghetto ass reverse racism into the lexicon just yet
lakergoy · 36-40, M
Dude ghetto is a frame of mind.... Look at all the young whiteys trying to be black, they would give thier current weed stash to be considered more "real" i.e. ghetto. And for your reverse racism. Be a whitey in the hood at night and tell me how f-in egalitarian hood rats are
@lakergoy Obviously it’s more than a frame of mind since you connect it with being and “acting black”. And I didn’t say anything about egalitarianism. I said racist is racist and black people are not immune.

Ah well that i can definitely agree with racist are everywhere in all colors

wait until she finds out melanin is not a race and that a DNA test will blow her ideals right out the DOOR!
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
She needs to learn some manners, and stop playing race card like a lot of blacks do
@Nyloncapes And out come the racists. Deal. ♠️♣️♥️♦️🃏

Or is this an example of ghetto ass ghetto?????
I hate the fact that while perhaps not in this case, people are still occasionally being racially discriminated against. It may be just a “card game” to you. But if it never happened no one would be suspicious about it, and no one would be able to make the claim.
@bijouxbroussard No one's forcing to you be part of the group. Just as no one's going to stop me from pointing out that some people will manipulate others no matter how they can, including trying to shame them with lables like racist because it gets them attention.
@EllaDisenchanted Understood; racism still exists, which is why this group does. And I wouldn’t be part of a racist group, so that’s not an issue. I don’t know if you’re in the U.S., but if you are, we’re both covered by First Amendment protections that allow whatever we wish to say on the matter.
@bijouxbroussard Yep, I'm in the US. And a huge supporter of free speech across the board.
