I Really Love the Mountains

My town is surrounded by mountains. Dad picks me up in town from the school bus and we drive up the side of the mountain. I love the way the valley unfolds. It’s so deep. I know it was cut by glaciers. I know Hafodwenog is on the stuff the glaciers dumped. And well. If there were glaciers still. Would life be better? I have no idea.

We get snow too. Sometimes college closes and they get the buses early. @pagandad

I live in a valley too I can't imagine not being surrounded by mountains. They've always given off a feeling of power to me.
