I Really Love the Mountains
I go on road trips every year, and my favourite place to go, is the mountains. I just love cruising through the heart of the Canadian Rockies. The roads are fun to drive on, the traffic is usually pretty light, (if I go at the right time that is). And the scenery that surrounds them is the icing on the cake.
Driving through the mountains isn't the only fun thing for me to do though. I also love hiking through them. Just a few days ago I climbed to the summit of a mountain with some friends, it was an amazing experience. I raced to the top of that mountain and when I got there I stood on the summit, feeling like I was on top of the world. I didn't want to leave, but eventually I had to. I will have to do something like that again in the future.
The mountains are a beautiful place, I may only spend a few days a year out there, but those are usually the best days of the year for me. I've never really had a dull moment out in the mountains, which is why I keep revisiting them.
