@GerOttman not necessarily. Base 10 makes conversion very easy: just move the decimal point left and right. That's a logical choice regardless of how many fingers you have, so having more fingers wouldn't necessarily change the base in maths.

@NerdyPotato Our decimal system is based on ten fingers. If we had 12 fingers then it's reasonable to think we would count by twelves instead of by tens.

@NerdyPotato Although, even in a 12 based number system, 3 would still be 3 and 4 would still be 4. If the guy only had two thumbs, we would use a binary numbering system and Pi would be... Mmmm, lessee..
