Heres a fun fact:

I dunno if the common knowledge of not but a day isn't really a single rotation of the earth. It's actually a few minutes long than that.

The earth actually rotates in about 23h 56m. But we don't define a day as a single rotation because that would mess everything up as the Earth orbits the sun.

I'm genuinely curious if that's common knowledge or not.
