I'm not condoning this at all but men (as society perceives) should be seen to be strong and reporting domestic violence against them by a female would be seen as a weakness. This is probably why it isnt reported on or reported to the authorities as much.
I have always said perceptions should never exist at the end of the day domestic abuse is still abuse regardless of gender of the victim.
I hope both cases you attended make full physical and mental recoveries.

@SW-User Even when men do try to report it, the police often refuse to accept the report so it goes unrecorded.

@SW-User One wasn't too badly injured so should be OK physically. The other was more seriously injured but will probably survive. I'm not so sure about either's future mental state. :(
