I Believe That "Homemaker" Is a Perfectly Valid Occupation

I will say that when I was married and a stay at home mom, even though I was married to a man I wasn't truly in love with it was the most fulfilling and best job I ever had. I felt such a sense of nurturing, love and caring. Oh sure it wasn't all roses and candy. I could tell you stories. And I am sure I will in the months to come. But over all being a Domestic Goddess is the proudest thing on my resume.
Things obviously didn't work out between my Ex and I and I harbor no ill will. We have well adjusted kids and made it work. When I went back into the work force it took some time to get adjusted and I had to fend for myself and my children.
If I were to be blessed to have a chance to be with the person I was meant to be with I would hope we could find a way for me to stay at home. My profession now just may be the key as it is medical billing and another passion that I found I love and am very good at. Perhaps working from home to bring in an income part-time while tending to my new families, and possibly any editions to the family, needs as the ultimate Domestic Goddess would be awesome!

It is something that is sadly undervalued and under-appreciated. I would submit one of the main reasons that you have well adjusted kids was your ability to be there for them,

Yeah, it takes a village?! It starts with the parent/s first.
