I Hate Body Shaming

I started a whole new diet and exercise regime to lose weight I gained when I was bedridden. Once you get into your new plan and step into scale to see you dropped a half kilo, you start to feel good about yourself. You're even more determined when you say no to fried snacks at your office canteen but all that good feeling is lost when your 'matured' co-worker decides to ask why do you not want to eat that, don't you want to get fatter? What's wrong with these people?

cultural thing, you would be jobless if you lived in Japan.

@Khenpal1 in Japan as I see, people need to be size zero. You don't need to ultra thin to be healthy. For a person of 156 cm, their healthy weight is 50-60kg. But that's too much to be a size zero. Their standards seem to be too extreme.

@JBird Genetically they are small , but the idea is if you are fit you are more productive and less sick. Although actual paperwork as they have it is total waste of time. If you noticed in many places in Asia collective thinking and behavior is seen a lot.

@Khenpal1 yeah, it's easy for them to be thin. For Western standard, I am small. But it comes to Asian, I come between medium to large.

Maybe they think you too skinny. Are you too skinny. It's okay to be skinny but if it's like eating disorder skinny. Then probably not. Anyway. Shoulda got me some of them snacks so my fat ass could have some.

@SW-User no, I am not. I am slightly overweight for my height
