I Hate Body Shaming

This is a classic example of body-shaming that happens around in our society. Fat shaming, skinny shaming and all kinds of shaming should not be tolerated. Unfortunately as a result of society's narrow beauty standards, these types of shaming are normalized, allowing people to make derogatory remarks.
This post shows how body-shaming still occurs, and it needs to stop.
Why do people feel the need to use such degrading remarks? It's absolutely appalling how people feel the need to shame others - people cannot control the way their body functions and it is not hard to have an open mind!

To anybody who struggle with self love.
To anybody who struggle with their bodies.
To anybody who has been body shamed.

You are beautiful the way you are, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

I have to agree but on the other hand I don't think that the cult of fat acceptence is good too. When a person who is morbidly obese and it's visible that he/she has physical issues and is doing nothing about it. It's not okay in my opinion for him/her to skinny shame others. If the person is fat but healthy and living good life without being restricted... nothing wrong with that.
I noticed lately that many people like this are getting louder and louder in this matter. It makes me worried and always reminds me of scene from Wall-I when the people were just on those chairs doing nothing...

@JaneSerenity As I have previously replied to another person, there are other alternative ways to address health issues without affecting the person's self-esteem. Body shaming is not the answer, and should never be tolerated. If someone is genuinely worried about your physical issues, they will find a way to help you.

@SW-User Of course I just pointed out one aspect from many. As I said body-shaming never did something good for anyone. I am for encouraging a healthy lifestyle and that starts with healthy mind.
