I kinda wish I was alive in the eighties. Most of my favorite movies came out back then.

@Killers: aaahhhh gotcha. i thought for a moment that you were saying that you also like soul, blues jazz and funk.

don't get me wrong, there is some very cool music from the 80's. it's just that the stuff from that period that i like is very heavily influenced by the genres that i've listed

@room101: Maybe heavily influenced, but I don't really have a taste for soul, blues, jazz or funk (except modern variations of it, I suppose).
