I Hate Asking For Help

Most of the time, I won't. That's gotten me in some trouble before. It takes a lot for me to even admit to myself that I can't do it. I don't want to believe it. It's pride, yes, but there have also been people in my life who had held it over my head when I couldn't handle something on my own. They really got a kick out of someone having to ask them for assistance. I no longer have anything to do with those people, but I still struggle to ask for help when I...ugh...need it.

Sadly sometimes we ask help form the wrong people,some people tend to look down on those who ask them for help,they consider them inadequate and a nuisance.I myself in the past have often felt this way when I asked for help and have learned to become more self reliant to the extent when I even refuse help when offered for little things,but for important things I have learned to swallow my pride.As they say "no man is an island".
