Parting with physical

That day, i was meditating lying down flat on my back.
After around 45mins of meditation, focusing on the forehead, i suddenly felt a magnetic pull and i tried increasing it, and it did. Like a huge magnet sucking me in. Suddenly i felt a rush of energy and felt my heart pounding, even though i know this is my chakra throbbing and my heartbeats were normal. The chest felt like thumping hard and my left ear blocked and i heard a loud whistling sound and next moment the consciousness pulled all the way from my legs, withdrawn to my forehead like curtain lifting... I became nothing but a one pointed awareness, consciousness inside of physical forehead.

I tried exiting body it cudnt happen and then consciousness spread back again thruout the body i got up amazed.

I shudnt have tried to take the prana out but cud have projected some of it out thru third eye and experienced hyperlucid oobe instead. Missed opportunity :D

@revenant well actually i came to realise abt this later, that if u take ur prana out, u r dead lol something an adept Yogi does when he or she wants to discard his body... So instead i cud have just projected out into an out of body experience.. I have had many after three years or so,, when i finally cracked the way to consistently have them at will. many more amazing experiences followed with that i usually discard experiences which I can't verify or are unrelated to earthly dimensions... I knw for a fact u can go out n about in different dimensions and if not just roam around earth like a being, unseen.. lol.. but i hardly managed to get beyond my room . But even in my room i had surreal experiences.. anyways i stopped doing it after some few months . I didn feel it's taking me anywhere spiritual growth wise.. just another psychic ability

@Om2014 If you take all the prana from the physical body does it mean permanent death of the physical body you are leaving if I understand you correctly ? like the yogis deciding their own physical death on this plane at will ?
If you are having a out of body experience, some of the prana is out but some is left in the physical body otherwise you would not be able to return. Am I correct ?
I had one once and I am still trying to "crack the code" :)

It is still bloody amazing all that..makes you aware that there is so so so much more than our physical senses.

Yeah adept practitioner can make that happen..
Yeah u project some of ur consciousness/prana out... If u can take all of it outside body dies not immediately therz a certain time frame after that therz irreversible damage .. actually if u stop ur heart thru yogic practice u will see that body doesn't die immediately.. well it doesn't. Yea

It's actually like how when we are day dreaming we are lost, if we can project half of the attention away from body we will feel that we are out of body
. Actually we rnt as rigidly tied to the physical body when it comes to partial projections... Infact every night we do project..

oh absolutely therz boundless.. i mean u can look at just one galaxy n be amazed even physically things are almost boundless,, and the astral plane is thousands of time bigger and causal yet more...

@Om2014 There are still magnetic laws though. Planets and stars just do not go floating around on their own.

@revenant there are , everything is logical only uptil one step before the reality.. when u step in the final domain it's much like the singularity no physical laws are applicable to where this all came from..
