why do people always ask if whether or not it is okay to do this or that?

Some people have the manners to make sure. Others just have anxiety and don't want to get an attack.

The problem is in upbringing.. as we are asked to shut up and listen or obey... be in parents or in school... and adulthood is not a leap to another state .. So we tend to ask around, as we were never trained to take our own decisions.. And anyone who we ask will only disallow or discourage since they too went through the same thing.. hahahaha..

Not all people have perspectives that will lead them in a better direction. That's why they vote for politicians that pave a primrose path.
