Are cyclists like this everywhere? Or is it just an Australian thing?

BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
It happens everywhere but not as much as it does in Australia. It's not as common in many other places.

It happens everywhere. I know many cyclists who ride on the road and feel like the rules of the road don’t apply to them. I’ve nearly kicked over a cyclist on his bike when he decided to drive through a red light and nearly run me over.

@WanderingThrough Its annoying because they break the rules but everyone else gets into trouble when they get hurt

@Fishy I completely agree. We have paths that were made specifically for cyclists and they still chose to either ride on the road or sidewalk, causing problems for everyone.

I'll put my hand up and say I'm a casual cyclist. However I hate riding on the road and stick to bike paths where I can. I'm paranoid about getting clipped by a car.
The rare 1 out of 100 isn't a complete moron. But generally this problem is a global phenomenon 😅
Cyclists rule the world !!!!!! except for the assholes -
