How would you react when someone compliments you on your appearance?

I tend to blush a bit, but I keep my composure well enough to thank them ☺️

I smile and I thank them.
No need to make it all dramatic.

I say thank you, and usually return the compliment. I can always find something about another person to compliment. I get a lot of compliments on my hair and I just throw my hands up and say, "I have good hair." It's not egotistical, just a thing. Everyone has a good thing about them!!

I say thank you, but have a hard time believing they are being genuine and honest. Most of the time I feel they're just being polite and telling me what they think I want to hear.

I don't know how people have trouble accepting compliments, barring they aren't backhanded, how could they cause discomfort?

I don't get offended by it...I often find it flattering and a little embarrassing at the same time.
