I Do Not Talk To My Neighbors

I grew up in the city then after college moved to a town of about 5,000 people for 10 years. I got used to small town life during that time. I've been back in the city for over 20 years and am again used to city living. We typically don't chitchat with each other. I do occasionally chat with the older man who lives above me. But I "know" them all.

1. Couple with sad dog who stares out window.
2. Uber driver guy with tiny dog who barks at everything.
3. Hispanic man with empty birdfeeder on his patio.
4. Apartment that has new tenants every year.
5. Doesn't curb dog people.
6. Let's dogs out without leashes people.
7. Retired man with fat, little dog.
8. Young couple whose apartment smells like weed-guy with man bun.

See? I pay attention to everything. 🧐🤓

Lots of dogs... 🙂 We joke about how our culture has changed: It used to be a married couple with two children... now it's a couple living together with two dogs... 🙃

@ms20182878 Yes! I haven't seen any kids in my building for 5 years.

Sounds like me. I was born and raised in a small southern town where neighbors are like friends, but I never felt that way. I like to keep to myself and mind my own business.

@DearAmbellina2113 Same. I come and go without any noise. Plus other people don't talk either. It's just our way here.

That's an awesome collection of neighbors.
This is a very fun post

@GJOFJ3 I was watching people outside when I just got back from running out and was thinking how I knew all of them.
