@TexChik They are fiberglass boxes with lids, mounted to the docks next to the boat.

You put things into it you dont want stolen or get wet while you are away.

Lake boats do not have too much dry storage on board

@questionWeaver ok, when we had a boat on Texoma, we had those and basically a glass room built on the dock. He had a big window A/C unit in there. Before I ever moved down here...he was on the lake, like a chick magnet! ugh. We got rid of the boat a few years later.
