Are you guilty of confirmation bias?

In a world full of hot issues, do you try to learn about them in a neutral matter by reading articles from academic and credible sources? Or do you instantly go to something with a title that sounds like it’ll agree to what your beliefs are?

If the second option, congratulations, you are affirming to confirmation bias! However everyone is guilty of this from time to time. Can you name a time you were adhering to confirmation bias?

I just use mediabiasfactcheck.com; I'm sure they're not perfect, but I assume it's better to have something outside of myself deciding what news I'll take seriously than it is to give my mind free reign to assign credibility based on my own pre-conceived notions. No doubt I have confirmation bias, but I can't name a specific instance and I'm honestly just toto exhausted to really think about it.
