Hey guys, I have a question about reading books?

When I usually read books, I have a vivid imagination where I like to see the world inside the book. I can't read books without deciding what the characters look like and the detail about them. I also like to go in high detail regarding the scenery. Now for the question, does anyone else see the characters brightly and see the world in high detail? Perhaps I'm in the minority? I like to play out scenes in my head and it just all about imagination from there. It's like a movie for me!

Yes I almost always imagine what the characters and scenes look like. If I'm really into the book I will imagine even more about it, almost to the point where it is playing out inside my mind.

I completely agree. It's part of the joy I get from reading, creating the characters and the scenes in my mind
@biandlargeny I agree! Sometimes I create characters a little differently to what is described but I'm fine with that.

@Citrusflavour I find it really interesting if they create a movie from the book.

Seeing the actors they choose for the roles and the places they choose to film.

Nope when I read a really good book it plays out like a movie in my mind would be the best way to explain it

You seem to have an amazingly high level of imagination. I don't get into that much detail although I do imagine characters and whatever is being described briefly.

I do like to picture things too. I'm a slow reader as well, a good one mind you, just slow. My mind wanders too much
