I Hate Going to Doctors

I get rushed in and out as fast as possible. One doctor told me he LITERALLY has a thousand patients! Another doctor was great, and he is helping me, but gave me half of the usual 10 min. because had had "an emergency meeting." I feel non-existent. It feels insulting.

I am seriously thinking of requesting all future appointments take place over the phone because that way I won't have to drive there and back through traffic, wait in the well named "waiting room," etc. It feels humiliating to me when I feel as if I am putting out more time and effort than the doctor is.

The doctors seem nice enough. But they are overwhelmed with too many patients and, since I am an aging baby boomer, it will only get worse. I don't want to feel so humble anymore.

yea - I got that too when I had shitty insurance - now that I have better insurance they are suddenly interested in me - oh how the medical profession has degraded itself for big companies - just report them to the Joint Commission -you can file a complaint online if you feel that it is a quality of care problem.
