I Want To Grow Up

No, not because I have serious problems with my parents, but for the freedom, especially the fun that an adult can have. My family's get together night always ends up with me being super excited and hence not wanting the good time to stop. But the adults are always tired as well as sleepy at tight, they're holding me back from all the fun I'm immersing by using that adult's authority to control me. I have nothing against all those rules we all know so well that every parent would plan out for their kids. I just want to have fun whenever I want, in anyway I want, and I'd be able to do so if only I were an adult. To be honest, I can't wait to grow up so I can be responsible for whatever I do, have as much fun as I want without having anyone stopping me.

It's fun at first. Then reality sets in. With freedom comes responsibility. And responsibility like bills, cooking, laundry, etc is tough after a long day at work.

Enjoy your youth. It won't be long before you miss it.

I know, trust me. But it's all worth it! I can't stand being a kid anymore, I do notice the privileges of it but I want more. Youth isn't always the best to everyone, I know some adults who are actually glad about being adults.

@mad205039: oh yeah! Luckily I was 29 by the time the first one came. But I never looked back nor did I have any regrets.
