It's fun at first. Then reality sets in. With freedom comes responsibility. And responsibility like bills, cooking, laundry, etc is tough after a long day at work.

I think this is a little tongue in cheek but I'll respond as if it is completely serious.

You're right, being an adult rocks so hard I still pinch myself... but then I look at all the bills all that fun racks up and I remember the reality of the situation. The rules are to keep you safe (for the most part). A child willingness to have uncontrolled and reckless fun need the tempering of adult insight. Being financially, emotionally and physically responsible for your actions requires a break in period, if you are lucky enough to have the support system that can provide it for you.

That being said it is very typical for someone your age to wish for the freedom they want.

I remember the day I said I wanted to be an adult finally that I can do what I want etc, well let me tell you being an adult us hard and it has its own set of challenges but you'll figure that out for yourself when you get here...

I feel the same. I get sent to bed at parties when I feel like I could go on for days, just because I am young . . then the adults complain how tired they feel the next day 🤔
