A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints....
A great movie with Channing Tatum and Robert Downing Junior. A telling story of what it was like growing up in the city back in the 80's. It's a telling story for me because I grew up with parent's who lived the city life before me. My Mother grew up in the Bronx and my father grew up in Yonkers. I am from Italian decent. I like this movie because it is not a mafia story.
It reminds me of a time in the 80's when I had no clue what the city life was like before my time and it tells me why. Why, my parents wanted out of the city, when they began to start a life together outside of the city.
Yet it also reminded me of the family I still have there, and the family that grew here.
The title of this movie, as it is said, A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints is not just a title, but it is a guide I already knew.
