I Got The Slipper At School

One of the many things I got the slipper for was riding my bike to the bike sheds. We were meant to dismount and walk with it but most of us didn't. Slipperings were very common and persistent offenders were caned. Needless to say, I was a member of that group.

Some of the things pupils were punished for, were just ridiculous.

@MAJFF Of course they were. It gave them more opportunities to slipper us. Even now shools are in competition to see who can come up with the most ridiculous rule. One of the top contenders must be the school that introduced a one way system in the corridors. It made it impossible to get to one wing of the school.

@Sharon Walking on the wrong side of the corridor usually resulted in a clip around the ear from one or two of the teachers.
