I Got Caned At School

I can remember this picture appearing in the papers of girls protesting against caning in schools. Unfortunately for us headmistresses like mine didn't seem to take much notice of such things!

@skimpyboy Some of us were caned just for wearing skirts that short, never mind protesting.

@Sharon yes my lady head would have a weekly walk round the school yard at break time and round up anyone in a mini type skirt

@Sharon They were taken to her office and first tome offenders got lines second timers were caned and given lines

@skimpyboy We usually just got the slipper, anything from two to six whacks depending on frequency of offending, but persistent offenders were liable to be caned.

@Sharon i had a few walks to the lady heads office during my first year for uniform issues

@skimpyboy A lot of minor uniform issues were dealt with by the teacher individual teachers who saw them. Usually that meant a slippering in class.
