I Overthink and Overanalyze Things

What is the difference between a reason and an excuse?

A reason is absolute, unchangeable, there to describe why things are the way they are.

An excuse is fallible, shifting, there to provide a justification to why someone won't change, to express a substitute to a truth that the speaker has yet to accept. For it is easier to lie to the world than to be truthful to yourself.

A reason is an unescapable instigating cause, it's the precursor.

Am excuse is a fake reason. A weak reason. (and often a lie altogether)
And tells you more about the person, than the actual cause.

It's so frustrating haveing to deal with them, amd the people behind them.

Amd the only thing worse, is the lies.
And the fear and anger amd weakness behind them.

I was there for years, too many to want to remember.

I feel for you.
To love someone like that
To endure what you do.

I hope you find resolution....or release.

A trapped heart, that is lost.... Hurts so much.馃挏

@lovingdead Er...am i way off base?

Sorry...dont know why I applied those assumptioms to you.

My appologies....I do this, Write a reply on impulse.
@lovingdead Hmmmm, just back from checking if i had hurt or insulted you.

Read some of your poetry.

You find some.....incredible expressions....some lines are painfully beautiful-

"Once upon a never after...
Not her forever, just her momentary...spent his life giving parts of himself away...to bleed forever"

You made my sorrow glisten, reading how you explain a broken heart.

and Maybe.... My impulse has a little worth...it came from memories that your post triggered.
