I Overthink and Overanalyze Things
What is the difference between a reason and an excuse?
A reason is absolute, unchangeable, there to describe why things are the way they are.
An excuse is fallible, shifting, there to provide a justification to why someone won't change, to express a substitute to a truth that the speaker has yet to accept. For it is easier to lie to the world than to be truthful to yourself.
