BIGGER THAN YOU REALIZE
She was persistent with her not-so-subtle hints about what she wanted and I knew that she would accept no substitute. The time finally came to give her what she has been determined to get for the last three months. Before revealing the object of her obsession I warned her one more time, telling her “sweetie, it is bigger than you realize.”
Her eyes widened when she finally saw it. I was expecting a little hesitation once her eyes finally could see the size and thickness but instead I received a big smile then a licking of her lips. I am fully aware that she is wiling but I think it will take more than inspiration to fit it inside her.
She actually giggles a little and ask if I think her little belly will stick out when it is all in. I smile and tell her we will find out soon enough. Her tenacity and determination causes her to try to rush in all in but I slow her down and tell her to take her time and not force it.
To my amazement this little girl accomplished her goal and indeed it was all inside. And yes, her belly did stick out a little. I said: I can’t believe it actually all fit inside” She laughed, gave me a big hug, and told me that it was the best giant cookie that she ever had .
