I Challenge You to Challenge Me to Write

For @Fungirlmmm’s challenge this week... I finally got around to writing!

This mortal coil that I shed

Has kept me prisoner in my bed

When every day is a challenge

I focused beyond my drifting balance

And now it’s not goodbye or loss

For I am free to boundaries cross

No more pain or sad regrets

You prayed for me

And now I’m blessed

Interesting tale. Some who have lived long or may be suffering as result of a serious affliction may see death as freedom and a new start as the shackles of this realm are no longer.

@Elandra77 Yes! Exactly. I’ve watched people suffer, and it was a relief to see them finally released from the pain of it all. It’s sad that they ever had to go thru it... in life there can be extreme highs and lows... in the end we do the best with what we’ve got. That’s what matters most, I think... 😌☮️
