My daughter is part of the community and has been in Portland ,Oregon for many years now--I am not well but I am aware I must go there rather than ask her to come here(she would) but would be so miserable--not the place to be if there is a way to relocate..I dont understand peoples thinking but on many issues I thank God I dont--Keep in touch if you like--I cant say more here......

@CheriVanilla I'm from Utah I have a sister that moved with her husband up there she likes the more rural atmosphere. I've always wanted to ride horses and not have neighbors that part must be nice.

@CheriVanilla you haven't seen much yet. Small farms are declaring bankruptcy at astounding rates, being bought up by large industrial farm aggregators, part of this huge grab of wealth by the wealthy.

@greenmountaingal I have lived there==I am fully aware i can move--there are reasons i came back here--and reasons i stay which i dont wish to post publicly--thanks for the brilliance!!

@Stereoguy lovely to visit--ironically we have the highest fertility rate in the US and one of the lowest ecmonic/wage rates--Very poor here but seem to have found a pastime--ridiculous!!!
