I Play Dragon Age

Most Immersive Game Ever!... I just finished Dragon Age: origins probably for the 60th time. I've made every choice, looted every chest, got every achievement and clearly have no life. I've also played every DLC for Origins.

I've tried hard to like Dragon Age II just as much but find that I just can't. I've probably finished it 9 times. Yes, it's prettier and more refined... but I find it too dumbed-down. The only thing in DA2 that I find up to standard are the characters. Just as well-written as those in DAO. One of the things that makes DA so immersive is the fact that it has such realistic, likeable characters.

Bioware has always been my favorite game developer, and even though I was a bit disappointed in DA2, I believe they will blow us all away with Dragon Age 3 :)

You are not alone. Origins is one of my all-time favorite games. I played through several times, trying everything there is to try. Then, of course, I read about creating a two-handed, back stabbing rogue, and I thought...hmm.

DA2 didn't cut the mustard. Too many options were removed and not enough time was put into the environments. The only thing I liked better was the concept of a rivalry. I mean, it's fair to think some companions will like you and some won't, but in Origins getting penalized was the only result from a sour relationship.

Inquisition comes out next week. Have you reserved your copy? I'm very excited about it. (I even took two days off of work!)
