I Am Trying to Get In Shape

Well, it's the end of the year, so it's time to see how well I did. Over the warm months, I would take half-hour walks at work around lunch time, and occasionally climb seven flights of stairs to get back to my office. I picked up yoga again, and stuck with it, doing a minimum of once a week, sometimes more. I've been eating healthier and with smaller portions, though the holidays kinda screwed with that.

With all of that, I've lost 19 pounds this year! I'm also more flexible, more balanced, with leaner-looking legs and a slightly smaller waist. Other people have actually noticed, so I must be doing something right! There's still lots of room for improvement, though, so I've still got work to do.

That's some good improvement. Discipline is key, I'm sure you'll get to where you wanna be.

@xRedx Discipline really is key. It doesn't matter how many times I tried in the past; I always lost interest and gave up. But this time I wanted it for real, kept going for it, and it paid off!

@FaeLuna it really is. Because we can do it for a month, then give up. But discipline, eating healthy, exercising, making the smart choices is key. And yes, it feels nice looking and feeling fit and healthy.
