I Experienced Racism

There are those who will never change. I don't know his motives since I wasn't there but at any rate he was stuck in his own prejudices. I can tell you things are better and I have seen the differences, you are young and didn't see how it was. I saw the marches in the 60s. I watched Dr. King's "I have a Dream" speech in DC. In time it will get better, it already has but there will always be a few who just don't get it. Their heart is too hardened to ever let anything inside it. I hope that someday we do have a world when "people are judged not by the color of their skin but the content of their character."

Maybe he just thought you were ugly or funny looking or he didn't like the way you were dressed. Just because people look at you funny doesn't make them racist. Some people see racism everywhere, even when it isn't there.
