I Experienced Racism

Although I'm an Indian working in India, I recently found out that there can be racism within Indians based on the state. I'm from the Indian state of Kerala. I work in a project where most of the employees are from state of Andra Pradesh. Even the manager is from AP. I can't help finding that promotions and appraisal are not difficult for AP people considering the people from other states. Due to their unlimited freedom, these people gloat over us and sometimes humiliate on our capabilities. One day, I asked help from an AP guy for working on an email. Instead of helping me, he humiliated me by asking me to translate the mail from English to my native language using Google translate. That idiot needed 2 attempts to pass an English test while I passed it on the first attempt with flying colours. This is not just one experience, I have faced more from yet, people from AP.
