I Experienced Racism

I am an Asian with a Christian first name. I happen to get into wrong hands of a white supremacist who told I was copying their culture and pretending to be white. Poor girl had no idea Christ wasn't a white man and was in shock when I told her he was a brown man. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

This paranoia about “copying” others cultures
Humanity is built on cultural exchange
@Rickg Exchange, yes. But also, in some cases appropriation for exploitation and financial gain. That’s when some people started having a problem with it. (Which would not apply in the OP’s example.)

But what would you consider “exploitation” for financial gain? like a white guy going to Thailand, learning how to cook Thai cuisine, and starting a restaurant with it in the States, as an example..@bijouxbroussard
