I think that is a distinct possibility at times. Sometimes meant to put someone down also.
I also think there is a lot of over hype and misdiagnosis labeled under "mental illness". Beyond the most obvious extreme cases, much of it isn't really illness to me. Sometimes it's just humans emotions/behavior tied to hormones, etc..
We seem to label any erratic/over emotional/depressive behavior under that term. And on social media sites it's rampant, simply because some behavior isn't understood. We are human, not robots.
