I Have Borderline Personality Disorder

So, my best friend just got engaged a little bit ago. My abandonment issues hit me like never before. How are we going to be once she gets married? We barely see each other now. She's going to be in a family (fiance has 2 kids). I can't tell her how I feel. I'm ecstatic for her. She has been through a lot and deserves it. She deserved to be happy. I love her so much, but I'm terrified of losing her.

I completely understand you. I was in the same situation years ago and since then, I've never gotten close to anyone else like I had my best friends ..... I got married too and divorced, leaving me feeling much more isolated and that rawness of abandonment was "real".....
things will be hard at first, but she's still your family and friend. Sharing her is what you've gotta do and be the best friend that you've vowed to her and also be a sister to her fiancé. That helps a lot :>

Abandonment issues are part of having bpd. Im livi g it right now and its probably all me. Argh.
