I wish friends could stay forever.

I wish people wouldn't leave but alas times change and so do people.

Farewell my friend. Thank you for supporting me at my worst and being there for me when I needed someone the most. Thank you for hearing me out and guiding me ahead. Thank you for everything you've done for me to this day. Although I've just known you for a year, I shall not forget all that you've done for me.

I wish you nothing but the best in life and hope you're safe and happy wherever you are. Thank you again my friend 馃檪.

You must be a good friend for the person to be one too. I hope that even though you may be apart, the good times will always be with you. And when you meet again, you can continue the friendship as if that person never left. I believe true friends are like that. 馃崄馃尮馃尰

I thought she was mad but maybe she needed space so I respect that.

I agree with you that a good friendship is mutual and if it's true then when the time is right to meet it'll feel like they never left.
