I Am New To This Site And Looking For People To Talk To

@rckt148 churches have food banks but no delivery, rent takes all my income so that I cannot even buy medications or food. Meals on wheels is not free either. I have no family at all and I have no friends who are willing or able to help.

@Anonymartyr It was a question I am sure you know here we have programs for those in poverty that feed those like you for free
As you know I was homeless and disabled and it was people in the church that came and rescued me ,,but they heard the call of our Father and acted on it
I know you have told me you walk a long way just to get food from the pantries
I have recently met someone who lives in you're neck of the woods that is about to come into some money and was wondering how to apply it for the kingdom of God ,,maybe I just figured out how ,,
Please understand ,the engine in my brain just fired up and we are not like some of my friends I know I could call on her and I know she would help
but let me message her tomorrow and see
MAYBE ,she would be willing to help

@rckt148 Even the Para bus costs the same as public transit here. I m buying a second-hand wheelchair in a couple of weeks if the store still has it. My walker isn't enough anymore and since he walker was paid for by the government, I cannot get them to pay for a chair ever.

@rckt148 I advocate as a volunteer for the homeless and the poor. I have the complete book containing every service available. Not a single service that I need is free, nor affordable.

I have chairs from my 2 friends that passed in my shed ,and a few nice walkers ,shower and potty chairs ..but its no good to you here

@rckt148 Find out how much it would cost to ship a wheelchair and it may be cheaper than for me to buy the second-hand one. They are asking $65 Canadian but it looks like it may be too small anyway.

when we stopped talking before you didn't even have income
so I know that changed ,,we just need to call on the saints
If the boss is not helping ,maybe its time we pray in agreement
I know you know what he requires to ask whatsoever

@rckt148 God is watching to see what we do. He is watching what we use our freewill for, self or to help others. Faith without works is dead.

for now I am refusing to use a chair ,,as long as I can push to walk I want to walk ,,but you may not know ,it was only last February that I finally found a doctor to look at my MRI's and agree to manage my pain
I had got to where I only got off the couch to go to the bath room
I don't know what I would have done without my son and my youngest daughter
but the Boss has enabled me to actually work the past few weeks
and people say there is no God ,,if they only knew
I would be helpless and without my kids if that were true

@rckt148 They don't plow the sidewalks in my neighbourhood during the winter so I cannot use my walker then. My walker won't fit on our buses either, A wheelchair would serve me better at this point.
I may be suffering, but I am also aware of the great honour it is to be chosen as a martyr for the Lord.

@Anonymartyr Well you may or may not know my family is stretched thin
we help a lot of people ..I just has to run off my own granddaughter so she will get tired of the non working boy she is with
wants a live in girlfriend but he won't even work ,he wants her to
So I hated telling her she has to see for herself and when she is tired of carrying him she can always come home ,,I don't carry other peoples lazy kids
but I know that is not you're case
We have 2 teen not ours we are already supporting so they finish school
So we don't require them to work ,only make good grades
So helping others is what we do .just where you are makes it harder
but now I know someone up there ,,but as I said ,we are not close yet
but I know she loves the Lord

@rckt148 i have never been able to adequately fill my time since I could no longer work. That is part of the reason I started advocating.

Here I try to be all things to all men that I might win some
and without trying to preach ,but teach as the door opens
I plant seed
and when I am busy ,my mind is not on my pain
Trust me Brother I get it ,,I have been here alone except the weekend when my son is home ,my daughter stops by a few times a week
Until lately doing laundry was hell ..I have enough clothes to last me a month and have shorts and a shirt every day
Meals I pop in the microwave ,,not the meals I used to cook that took all day

@rckt148 it would take me years to save up for a second hand microwave oven and my special diets (3 separate) preclude most things microwavable anyway.
