I always felt kind of distant from them. My parents gave me a lot in life, way more than I'll ever deserve, but they never really understood me or accepted that my own way of thinking and my own beliefs are valid. I always felt like I was walking on eggshells to pretend to be a normal kid but I know at the end of the day, they just cared about me and were trying to raise a good son.

As for my siblings, they started out bad but got better. My brother was always pretty aggressive; I just wanted things to be peaceful and they never were. My mom tried to stop him but he was at it all the time; she had shit to do and pulling him off of me every 20 seconds wouldn't have fit in her schedule. He would insult me in front of his friends a lot and that made them feel like they could do whatever they wanted to me, which I didn't like. My sister liked to kinda make jabs at me and try to make me look and feel like a shitty person, and maybe she just genuinely thought I was one and was acting in good faith.

But over time, my mom started cracking down on my sister and my brother perhaps realized that he shouldn't be tormenting his adult brother. So they got better and now we're all on friendly terms, like we should be.
