I Love Berlin

I was there for two days a few years ago and I'm looking forward to being there again at the end of the month and seeing more of it. It's a vibrant city that is rich in history, art, culture, music...
Any suggestions of things to see or do that I could add to my already long list?

I've been to Munich but not Berlin yet. Would love to hear about your trip.

I've been to Berlin, Weimar, Leipzig and Dresden. Never to Munich but it's definitely on my list. It's the home town of my favorite opera singer ;)

I liked Munich, and the opera house is beautiful!

The Munich opera house is home to two of the most magnificent voices currently and it would be worth a trip if only to hear them sing.

I hope you get there to hear them!

I'm making the trip in January to hear him sing. We were supposed to see her in concert in Barcelona but she cancelled at the last minute and we got a replacement instead who was far from being as good.

Sorry. That's too bad.

it happens with singers and even more frequently with opera singers as it's so much more demanding and the big ones tend to be extra careful with their voice. She tends to cancel a lot.

That's unprofessional. Don't commit to so many performances then.

She doesn't, but she has a 90 year old husband she dotes over and she cancels out of town performances if he's having health issues
