What’s your favourite book?

idk why but i love to "listen" to Kierkegaard rambling in his journals, maybe because this is often how i'm hunched in my room contemplating my contemplation and idk if i can really even pick a fav but this is good, it's a lot of "god talk" but i'm not bothered with the religion aspect, i just like to ask myself big questions and burn out

and then of course the book of poetry my friend let me "borrow" but then he died before i could give it back so i consider it a gift from a dear friend so it will be special to me forever, i even keep it in a fucking plastic bagggg for an extra layer of protection

Probably Crooked God Machine by Autumn Christian but it's hard to choose a favorite. Crooked God Machine just really sticks out because it's so well-done, sad, disturbing, touching.. all in one.

I would also say:

Quicksand House by: Carlton Mellick II

Last Days by: Brian Evanson

All of Terry Pratchett's Discworld Series

MaddAddam series by Margaret Atwood

Prometheus Rising by Robert Anton Wilson

Letting Go by David Hawkins

Power vs. Force by David Hawkins

I have so many.

@bijouxbroussard his writing is just incredible
@HannahSky It really is. I read “The Fire Next Time” when I was eleven. It changed my life.

@bijouxbroussard I turn to his writing, The Fire Next Time included, when I need some clarity and deep truth.
