I wonder... all those who hate Walmart now due that no gun thing...

Do they carry their gun on Sunday to church as well or is that something completely different?
Well, you know the NRA scolded them for taking that stand and said “people will just buy guns elsewhere”, which is true enough. But how dare Walmart make even that symbolic attempt to start being part of the solution, for once. 🙄

@Notanymore
if you're telling me that Texas has no laws against macine guns
I didn't say that. At all.

An Uzi isn't a fully automatic machine gun until you modify it. You can buy them, quite easily. In TX, even though it is, what was it again? Soft and liberal?
Notanymore · 36-40, M
@daisymay an Uzi is originally fully automatic until it's modified by a distributor or manufacturer
Notanymore · 36-40, M
@Notanymore but I will agree with you. Gun regulations are like any law. Just useful to law abiding citizens
bowman81 · M
They didn't ban the carrying of guns, they banned the open carrying of guns. That is an important distinction. Apparently it is ok to carry as long as they don't see it. 😏

@bowman81 Concealed carry requires a different license, doesn't it? A little more difficult to get?

@4meAndyou Like most things..."It Depends" usually open carry is legal without license (different states have different rules). Carrying concealed usually requires a permit (again not all places). Then there are different concealed carry permits. Some actually authorize carrying in "Gun Free Zones".

Gun fetishists carry their detachable penises with them to church in TX a lot.

@AthrillatheHunt Oh yeah, and it's actually King Missile, not King Crimson :P
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
Ahhhh, memory’s a little hazy from that time period.
@daisymay

@AthrillatheHunt LOL, no doubt ;)

And nobody thinks it's a little bit strange to carry a gun in God's house? 👀
Not in the least. God knows what evil there is in this world and He has no problem with those who would protect themselves or others. If He did, you physically wouldn't be able to bring in a gun into... any place, even if you wanted to.
xixgun · M
@kingkyri Right, in other countries they carry knives, billy clubs, brass knuckles...

I'm sorry you can't grasp the concept of self defense.
It's not that people are afraid of their fellow man, it's that some of their fellow men don't always have the best of intentions towards THEIR fellow men.

I try to avoid Walmart altogether. Has nothing to do with guns. I just don’t like shitty customer service. LOL

They might actually do that if you remember there has been at least one church shooting.

I carry my gun everywhere.
If I'm there, it is no longer a gun free zone.

@kingkyri Because I sure as shit don't want to die or watch someone I love die because I didn't have the testicular fortitude to shoot back.

See ?
Everyone’s gonna crack wise and make fun “I’m clever look at me”
If your so against guns, be involved!
Do something! Find an organization that promotes sensible gun laws....

I would assume that anyone with half a brain knows by now that churches, mosques and synagogues are one of the all time favorite massacre zones for mass shooters.

Churches everywhere are relying on volunteers who are armed to try to defend them if such a thing should happen. One church shooting, last year, was nipped in the bud because one man had a shotgun out in his pickup truck. He was able to run out and get it and shot at the gunman, who then fled.

They said the number of deaths would have been much higher if not for that man going and getting his gun.

@kingkyri Well, typically we have crazy people with guns over here, whereas Europe has nuts with bombs and they drive trucks into people or go mental with knives. The mentally ill will use whatever they can lay their hands on when they go off.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
You’re leaving out many critical facts with “that no gun thing”, just like the media does.

I wonder if the people who kill others care about the laws where they go to kill innocents
Notanymore · 36-40, M
@bijouxbroussard and licks just keep honest people honest right
@Notanymore Locks, you mean ? I believe in the rule of law. So you tell me. Locks and laws are at least a small buffer against the “bad guys”.
Notanymore · 36-40, M
@bijouxbroussard I do yes. That's what I believe. And sorry for the typo.
