IMO, anything Douglas Adams is good, but it really depends on your tastes. Picking audio books for someone is like picking underwear. Only you can know what you like.

@Theseus I knew his name was familiar. With the radio show, t.v. series, and movie I guess he didn't have to write much after that.

Wilbur Smith's historical fiction on ancient Egypt was a page turner for me. The River God (Audiobooks has it.) Audible has The Kite Runner, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

@Mamapolo2016 I've read the kite runner, it was really good and gave a good view of what it's like living in the middle East.
