I agree, we should totally just let the disabled starve, and maybe just to make things more efficient, stuff people's heads in guillotines anytime they get laid off or fired.

@BlueVeins most people I see at the store paying with their government assisted food stamp walk just fine and carry their groceries the same as me🤷♀️

@SweetNSassy Not all disabilities are easily visible like that, and 81% of SNAP households with a non-disabled adult include at least one working adult. Unfortunately, wages are just too low in a lot of areas for families to get above the poverty line without government assistance.

@BlueVeins bull shit! Government assistance doesn’t help people get out of poverty it is designed to keep them there

@BlueVeins Tell us about your disabilities. Sweet is right.

@LamontCranston Honey, I don't receive social benefits and I don't have a disability. You're missing the point.
BlueVeins · 22-25
@SweetNSassy There's some degree of truth to that; there is such a thicreang as a welfare ceiling. But welfare massively boosts the economy by preventing the longer-term burden of malnutrition and boosting consumer spending. Really, what we need is some kind of universal social benefit like a UBI or PBI.

@BlueVeins you will a good little communist boy! Keep that attitude up and they may even make you a spokesperson

@BlueVeins I did not miss the point. I can only hope that your living a few more years will bring you some enlightenment about the ways of the world.
