A male Latrodectus mactans (southern black widow) that was building little zip lines across my front porch. The males aren't medically significant like the females, and they have pretty friendly demeanors. This little guy was busy, but still let me handle him for a bit. That's always very cool.
@BigAssLeech why thank u. I used to like them until I got biten and almost lost my hand. A brown recluse. 8 day hospital stay that's why I HATE them.

When I was a kid I spent time living in the middle east and we'd get camel spiders and wolf spiders around the house, as well as scorpions of various colours.
@SW-User I considered getting a camel spider for a pet not that long ago. They're so interesting. The only downside is that I'm uneasy feeding live prey, so that wouldn't have worked out.
