A lot of people don't know how to handle emotional intimacy. It's too much for them, so they act like they don't care.

A lack of empathy, zero emotional intelligence, caught off guard, just being an asshole; take your pick.

@Holla34 that's true. but, as unlikely as that may seem, the very few who aren't are usually pretty kind and will be there to hold your hand and listen, you won't understand that either.. but it will feel nice. :)
