how to leave and come out of your negative lifestyle and thoughts ?

It's been 5 long years and negativity has become my nature.
I believe wholeheartedly that people can change if they really want to. It takes training and disciplining the mind.
@notaregularguy: Well, I just know from experience that when I was going through some really tough times, that people don't want to hang around depressed people. They have no empathy. I wasn't looking for sympathy, but some encouragement. Anyway, I had to get away from the abuse. Each day was about survival to me. A healthy mind doesn't want to stay down, but sometimes one cannot help it, but we can still try. It's not easy by any means, but training your mind in the way it should go, is definitely rewarding. It takes conscious effort to put a stop to negative thinking. Training your mind to stop thinking negatively the minute you notice it is trying to go there. However, I found that a deficiency of certain vitamins, will keep one depressed. What brought me out of a very deep grieving process, was sublingual B-12. It really saved me. No prescription, either. Also, Ester Vitamin C and B-Complex, and MSM. Now, I manage very well. I refuse to live my life chained to depression and negativity. Life is too short for that. I also use prayer, which feeds the spirit joy, happiness, and peace. The Bible says that he who keeps his mind focused on Jesus, shall live in perfect peace. That is true.

.I guess I should also check for some nutrition deficiency. And will have to be concious too. Thanks.
@notaregularguy: Yes, it is a well known fact that if one lacks the B Vitamins, they'll be depressed. I got the sublingual ones from Walmart in cherry flavor...delicious! And can be taken through the day as well. I'd take three or four and pop them under my tongue, and boy, what relief! I had friends try them, too, and it really brought them out of depression, too. MSM is important. But take only in the morning. I get mine from Swanson Vitamins online, as they are cheaper, but are high quality. I wish you the best in your journey.
Also take Vit. D-3 and Magnesium.

@LadyGrace: I guess, will research a bit and will take some.
@notaregularguy: They are natural and cannot hurt you. GABA, is another excellent one, which is known as the "happy pill".

Find a new meaning to life, for instance I found myself a job I love, I started spending more time with family. Nowadays negativity is there but not like it used to be.

Nah, those whom I thought was my friends, left me. And my family too, thinks I am doing drama. And TBH, I have tried thousands of people offline and online but eventually everyone leaves and don't care. I even went to therapists, but they all talk theoretical. So..I m here, literally, all alone.

@notaregularguy: due to past experiences you think everyone is the same? There are no good people around anymore?
notaregularguy · 26-30, M
It's not that, but no more positivity and hope left. I can't tell you how scarred I am from inside.
You should try church!
I joined the church last summer and the people spirits are brighter and happier even given their circumstances.
I may feel lonely, I am not alone because I do have my fellow "brotha" and "sista" to lean on :)

If you're already involved with church or not interested try a gym like the YMCA. The YMCA is different from other gyms it can serve two main purpose or three. It can be a can place to workout, socialize and practice religious studies on Sunday.

Third thing is to do something you love and make a routine of it ; I run every morning and you will start to see the same similar faces and some how you start to feel more comfortable to talk because it feels like you know them in a way

After all of these suggestions you still have to put in the effort of not pushing people away and accepting new people in your life - That is what I struggle with haha

Sorry I wrote so much, I hope this does help you are stir you in the right direction 😏
@Plastichearts: I replied to the wrong post 😂 I meant to reply to your previous post
